Shanghai Union Pay Street lighting project---- The first one drive four street lighting system in China

HY Energy finished a project in Shanghai Union Pay with HYE premium new wind turbine HY Pegasus 1.5kw in 2012, the project is total 36 pieces of LED street lights powered by 9 sets of wind-solar hybrid system, which is a reconstruction project to replace the old high voltage sodium lights installed in 6 years ago. These hybrid street lights showed an eco-friendly and a sustainable development application to all the banks.

The project is completely designed, manufactured and installed by HY Energy. Yearly average wind speed of the project site is only 3.2m/s, so HY Energy takes the premium new wind turbine HY Pegasus 1.5W which has extraordinary power output at lower wind speed range from 2.5 to 8m/s, which will guarantee 4pcs of 60W LED street lighting operating on full power for 10 hours a day, and there is enough battery storage capacity to backup for 3 days if there is no wind or sun.
